Gerry Burdo

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Gerry’s expertise in operational, financial, and logistical components of the industry have been foundational in his 30-year career. Gerry began as a CPA for KPMG and went on to hold senior executive positions with Ethan Allen, Ralph Lauren, and kozmo.com (an online logistics company). Gerry founded NEHDS with the goal of providing the best customer experience in the industry. With a driven yet caring approach to leadership, he focuses on creating a family environment within the company, where everyone is looking out for one another and the best interests of our customers. When Gerry is not looking for opportunities to make every NEHDS delivery exceptional, he enjoys playing golf, reading and being active in his church.

Peter Katz

Chief Marketing Officer

Peter’s professional experience has revolved around disciplines in marketing, sales and advertising across small and large companies in the consumer products and services categories. After receiving his MBA from the University of Michigan, Peter held positions of increasing responsibility with Sara Lee, Philips Electronics, Remington and Cuisinart prior to embarking on an ownership role in a logistics start-up company. In joining the NEHDS family, Peter applies a creative focus on doing what’s best for our customers, while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement. Peter loves spending time with his family and puppy, and may be the world’s biggest Michigan fan… Go Blue!

Fred DiMaria

Chief Financial Officer & Co-Founder

Fred is a licensed CPA with a strong background in financial roles from Warner Lambert and Ernst & Young and has been the key developer of many of the benchmarks used to map NEHDS’ success. Driven by results and with a keen eye for detail, Fred has guided our company towards continuous improvements resulting in maximizing the quality of the employee experience and the highest customer retention in our industry. Fred is an avid Yankees fan who loves coaching baseball and designing and building model aircrafts.

Brian Jordan

Senior Vice President, Sales & Co-Founder

Brian’s extensive experience in the delivery service and logistics industries has been invaluable for shaping NEHDS’ vision. His career spans over 40 years in diverse roles, where he gained various industry perspectives. Brian began his logistics career as an Industrial Engineer with UPS, progressing to an Account Manager and Regional Director of Operations for Merchant Home Delivery Service, before holding the position of Vice President of Sales with Advanced Delivery Systems. Brian’s friendly and trustworthy attitude, along with his solid sales plans, provide quality, affordable delivery and warehousing options for our clients and ultimately make our customers feel great about who they are working with. When Brian is not seeking out new business opportunities or supporting a customer’s needs, he can be found on the golf course, the ice rink, or rooting for any and all of his beloved Boston teams.

Wayne Posten

Senior Vice President, Operations

Wayne began his career with Advanced Delivery Systems as an account manager. After displaying his ability for strong customer relations and business management, he was promoted to a Regional Director overseeing major accounts from Connecticut to Florida and the Midwest. Wayne currently oversees NEHDS operations from New York to South Carolina and is responsible for successfully delivering in excess of $600 million of retail goods annually. Wayne manages with passion and respect, understanding that every decision he makes as a leader has an effect on those he leads. Wayne is a dedicated father and softball coach and loves spending time with young athletes.

Ross Becker

Vice President, Operations

Ross began his career with NEHDS as the account manager of our extensive fleet for Cardi’s Furniture. With a natural ability for problem-solving and fostering strong customer relations, Ross moved into the role as our Northern Regional VP, where he oversees delivery operations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont and Maine as well as two warehouse operations. Ross’ operating unit successfully delivers more than $300 million of retail goods annually. Ross is a team-oriented person who leads by example and firmly believes in the Golden Rule; he loves spending quality time with friends and family, going to the gym and playing an occasional game of golf, where he routinely drives the ball more than 300 yards.

Vin Becker

President Emeritus & Co-Founder/Retired

Vin is the former President of NEHDS, having recently retired from daily activities. Vin’s 40 years of experience in the operational and logistic industries have been vital to the growth of NEHDS.  Vin’s career spans various management positions with Ethan Allen and Bassett Furniture, and is responsible for hiring and mentoring many of NEHDS’ team members. While Vin recently retired from daily responsibilities, we continue to call on him regularly for his valued guidance and support. Vin is a two-time Hall of Famer, having been honored by the sports programs for both his high school and college – when he is not accepting accolades, Vin loves to read, play golf and watch sports.
